About Rainbow Promise
Callie’s Story
I come from a troubled background and began rebelling from an early age. Some of my behaviors were learned, while others were simply attention-seeking in the wrong places. By the time I was 11, I found myself addicted to drugs, involved in gangs, and labeled as a runaway child most of the time.

As my life spiraled out of control, I became pregnant with the hope that having children would help me break free from my drug addiction. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and soon after, my children were removed from my care. I found myself homeless, broken, and desperate. Serving a custodial sentence for petty crimes that funded my habit only made matters worse.

It wasn’t until I was introduced to the concept of rehab that my life began to change. I returned to my grandfather’s home in Cornwall and eventually entered a 12-step program. It was during this time that I had a radical encounter with Jesus. His love and grace set me free from the chains of addiction and despair. My children were returned to my care, and I began attending and serving in a local church twice a week.

Through my faith in God, I have been saved, delivered, and healed. My life has been transformed, and I now walk in freedom and purpose. Jesus has truly made all things new in my life, and I am forever grateful for His unfailing love and grace.
